I find blogging a useful tool because it lets one share information in an interactive way.

With a blog, a teacher can continually keep students updated on assignments, projects, homework, etc.

The teacher can use images, links, graphics, etc. within the blog to help keep the students actively engaged in the class and also let the students use the blog or create blogs of their own to interact with each on projects. To let students create blogs is a great way to let them express themselves. BUT, the question is, if we let students create blogs, how do we control the information, what is the best way to make sure all information is appropriate and can we ever fully control the information if we let students have individual blogs?
